IRC Glossary
CTCP
- Client To Client Protocol - A set of commands to perform certain tasks, like sending a ping request to a channel to measure network performance, checking the time on a server, etc.
DCC
- Direct Client to Client - Generally used to transfer files from one client to another.
OPER
- Sometimes referred to as IRCOP or IRC Operator - An individual who has administrative powers on the network.
